I never thought it would be necessary to write a review on a poop bag, but these bags are too good to not share. Super easy to open, the scent is pleasant without being overpowering and really does a good job masking the odor, and best of all they’re earth friendly! I read some reviews saying that the sticker couldn’t be removed without ripping the first bag, but this was never an issue for me. Obviously you don’t want to yank the sticker off. Peel it off slowly and it’ll be fine. In terms of some other reviews that claim these bags are too small to work for a large dog, I’m really not sure what they’re talking about. I have a 90 pound Pyrenees mix and have had no issues cleaning up his messes with these bags. They are about as large as your standard poop bag. As other reviewers have stated, the rolls are too thick to fit comfortably inside a standard poop bag dispenser, so you will have to remove the first one or two bags to get it in a dispenser. However, this is a minor issue and not worth getting worked up about. I will be a returning customer!
This is my second purchase of this product. I am satisfied with the thickness of the bags --at first I felt it was thinner than other bags that I have used (basically plastic no matter how they were labeled as "green" when really they are plastic treated for breaking down faster in a landfill). With these I love that they are compostable, the scent is strong enough and much better than whatever you put inside these bags... so there I am highly satisfied. I have let these bags sit outside for quite some time before eventually discarding in a dumpster and have noticed no weather damage to the bag -which would have created a mess- so their durability is very good, their thickness is what is needed, and the size is absolutely enough to cover hands and pick up bigger you-know-what. So that's why I am a repeat buyer. If I wanted to add one negative line, it would be for the sticker that holds the roll of bags together. It sticks a lot so at least the first bag will be ripped and not useable - trust me on that one!...Other than that I've never had one rip when in use.
Don't know if the size changed from the last time I bought them (or I just hated the bags I was using before this) but I like the feel of these bags, they are easy to open and I can easily fit the width of the litter scooper inside which avoids any accidents/mess. I don't use the plastic scoopers, any real cat person (with 9 cats, some foster) know there is no match to a real litter scooper and bags which are essential to mental health. They come nicely scented, my only complaint may be the price but being that they are my favorite, oh well.
I spent way too long looking for poop bags that actually biodegrade and these were my choice. An overall 5 star based on biodegradability and also that the scent (I got pink/rose) is actually pleasant and far from overwhelming. I do find that I have to be a bit more gentle pulling these off the roll, if I'm too rough, the perforation isn't clean and rips into the next bag (I also had to spend extra time carefully taking the sticker off the first of the roll). Nothing that detracts from the rating, but an fyi. Similarly, these rolls are too big (too many bags on the roll) to fit in my standard on-leash bag dispenser. I have a small dog and find the size generous for his waste and am confident picking up. Will buy again.
I recently rescued a stray cat, and due to a skunk issue, she is being kept indoors 24/7. I found I was using far too many plastic grocery bags and was searching for a more environmentally responsible alternative. These bags are the perfect solution for me. I can easily fit the litter scoop into the bag; one bag per day works for my cat. They have a nice smell too. Sometimes I have trouble tearing one from the roll, so I definitely have to use two hands. However, that is not a big deal for me. I simply spin the filled bag and tie the excess into a knot. The box contains 3 rolls, and I'll be re-ordering when I start the third roll. I'm very satisfied with this purchase!
Nice biodegradable poop bags. Order is strong. But love that they break down naturally. Hats to open until u wet ur fingers.
I've tried a whole bunch of different kinds that claimed to be biodegradeable but weren't; this is by far the only choice if you really care about the environment. IF the others break down ( someday, not terribly soon, only if the planets are perfectly aligned), they turn into plastic particles that end up in our food supply. I recommend the rose-scented ones: a "spoonful of sugar" if you will, just the right amount of light fragrance to make the job both neat and pleasant.
Never thought I would be reviewing Poop bags haha, with that being said these bags are AMAZING! They smell like roses which happens to be my favorite scent ever, so I am hooked for life on these bags. They’re also decomposible, trying to reduce my carbon footprint a little bit. Theyre also super cute and pink and have cute little dogs and cats and roses etc on them.
I feel better about using bags now that I know they aren't made of plastic and will decompose quickly. It makes it a bit easier to want to pick the stuff up while on a walk at 4am. The rose smell can be a tad bit overwhelming at first, but I find that it really does block out the smell of the waste I'm picking up. I was worried about the thickness of the bag at first, because the other ones I had been using were much thicker, but I've never had a problem with them. Even with the largest poo my dog made, and I was worried with that one, it held fine even when jogging and the bag jostling around.
These doody bags are a great size and get the job done. They are a little on the thin side but I have not had any rips or tears.
Overall good product, does the job without any tears. I like that the bags are biodegradable. Would be perfect if it was easier to open bags.
